2-1/2 Years and counting

First time back on site for a while. LIving with bfs is a challenge but things do get better. If you had told me 18 months ago I would feel as well as I do now I would not have believed you. I still have all my twitches and burning joints but to a lesser degree. Have the usual flare ups when things get bad for while, then everything calms down to a managable level. Just a matter of putting your head down bum up and getting on with life. Not always easy but i think a lot of it is just shear bloody mindedness and determination, and a positive attitude will get you through.Have also had many other strange symptoms such as jerking , parathaesia, electric shock sensations etc. Thankfully these are fleeting and have not lasted.Just visit from time to time. Some medications do help such as calm nerving ones. However I have come off all my medication but for one (Dopress) which I only take in very low dose.If you can cut the stress out of your life, then I am sure your symptoms will improve markedly. That is the secret as far as I am concerned. Relax and dont stress out. Thats me for another Year or so. I think it is best to get on with life and just visit this site from time to time, to see if anyone has come up with something that seems to be a benefit to the symptoms of bfs. Cheers for now Raymondonz
