I have been twitching for 17 months. It has never stopped but at times lessened a little. My feet and calves go 24/7, but lately so has my whole body. It jumps throughout. I looked at my upper arm today and it was about jumping out of my skin. It only lastest seconds but it looked scary, and it will be back. Then I feel my shoulder, my knee, my ribs, etc. Has anyone had them this hard and this bad? Is this till BSF?

I know I have at the time. My hole body has gone crazy and it drives me crazy but a few weeks ago, I went to the neuro and did an emg and they both said "no als and nothing to be afraid of just bfs". So Im doing my best to trust them but its very hard and I get really tired of all the weird symtoms and the anxiety. But from what people here told me, its very commen that bfs goes up and down. And when its down you get ALOT of weird twitches all over face and body!I hoped I helped a littleTake care

Hi Sueboy and 4evaGirlYou both sound so much like me!! Been twitching for nearly nine months, have suffered for years with bad health anxiety! I twitch everywhere but my calves are 24/7!! We are fine, it is a Benign condition!! Please both of you feel free to PM me if you have any questions!Warm regARDSSandra

I too twitch 24/7 everywhere and mostly in calves. In legs really large ones, whole muscles, does anyone else have thisAlso my voice sometimes dissapears and then I have to cough is that normal as well?

Since my problem has started 15 months ago I've been diagnosed BFS in several occasions. I've got the same you have, but in my case is the upper body to be preferred (ok, my feet are a commonest site of twitches too).
