HII have had my symptoms for 12 years now, i have been in bad flare snce june this year.besides twitching from head to toe and sensory stuff i suffer from relentless spasms and cramps all over my body.i will trade to twitch for life if it means my cramps and stabs wll go away.i even get spasms in my face and throat. in my cheeks it feels like a constant pull. and inside my ears a cramp and hurt so much. constant click click click without swallowing.fot the past thre days my face hurts so bad its in constant spasm. then it will twitch and all but my god they hurt bad. i had a glucose tolerance test witch is abnormal and going forward with endocronology as possible cause to this.any one cramp like this

I recently went through a bout of cheek cramping. Felt like I was winking. The cheek twitch was very odd feeling. My scalp, inner and outer ears have twitch off and on. Neck, generally one whole side and then the other went on for about 1 month. Very hard twitches and quivering of the entire neck muscle. Latest was the throat. It made the back of the toungue feel like it does right before you throw up. short spasms then the throw up feeling. Lasted for about 3 or 4 days.

Yup I get that too. A lot when I first wake up like all the muscles start the quivering and toungue gets tight and I even gag. But I don't need to throw up. It's the muscles they get so tight they make me gag.Even my ear lobes burn and feel tight.Lately I get muscle picking twinges (yuck)Cramp can come and go but this tigtness stays for hoes like a tooth ache!!

Sorry to hear about your cramps being so bad - hopefully the docs will put something together for you with your current tests. Funny - I had an off glucose tolerance test also. At that time it really helped me to do a no sugar, low carb diet and increase my fluids (mostly water as you also need to avoid caffeine); this was before I got BCFS. My cramps are much better now but I know what you mean - who cares about a twitch when you're in spasm? I had them bad enough for a while to get soft tissue injuries (pulled muscles, tendons, & ligaments) so yeah, they are the opposite of fun. Hope things improve for you, they did for me so there is always hope.
