TwitchMeSweetheart,Where else do you have twitching besides your calves, and if other places, how consistent is it? I'm just curious if there are a lot of people who just twitch in the lower limbs. I twitch everywhere so I find it interesting that some just have the phenomenon in certain places.Krackersones

I often wonder why most us twitch mostly in our legs. I know I do. I'd say 85% of my twitching is in my legs & feet. I get random as I like to call them hit & runs in my back, sides, butt, face, but it's mostly my legs. My arms are affected the least. The twitching in my legs seems more constant also. So weird.

It's because your legs take the most abuse and stress during the day. If we walked on our hands, our forearms and biceps would twitch more. You just have to realize that BFS is a systemic condition. You have it all over. It's just the muscles that you use the most where you feel it the most. That's why they say that the location of a twitch is irrelevant. It doesn't matter where you have it, hotspots are different for everyone.
