Hi guys, its been 1 year since getting BFS. Everything seems to be calming down for me. my symptoms have greatly diminished. but when I though I was out, it comes back again. Has any one experienced hand/arm tremors before falling asleep? its happening more frequently.....also, has anyone found a good treatment or cure for hotspots?ive been having the meat under my thumb twitch really vigorously really fast almost like a strong ripple. it sometimes catches my thumb and that freaks me out  its been happening for an entire day. has anyone tried beta blockers for these annoying hotspots

Ah, yes, the thumb/thenar hotspot. This past summer it seems that quite a few of us here had this; I made a post irrationally freakibg out about it as did a handful of others. For me, it went away after two months when I turned to acupuncture. It took two or three sessions, plus some Chinese herbs. Around the same time I removed gluten from my diet, which helped reduce my twitching overall. I'm not sure if that will work for you, but worth a shot! Good luck.As for the nighttime tremors, I've had that before this past summer, but not when I was about to fall asleep, but rather when I was like half asleep. I would feel it vibrate, and would then wake up. I noticed it would happen to the arm or hand I fell asleep on, like I was pinching the nerve with my big head, lol. I found a solution when I stopped sleeping on my side, on top of the hand, and started sleeping on my back.
