First EMG was very crude, done in the doctors office only a few muscles. He wasn't concerned at the time because I had no muscle or strength loss.

I'll keep checking in and giving updates. Y'all have been super helpful and I know how stressful this whole thing can be, even if it turns out negative. I've been given a diagnosis and I am staying strong, so don't let not having one ruin your life. After all, life itself is terminal, so enjoy...

    MRI Suggestive of What?

Thanks All. I am hopeful, my diagnosis is "possible" so I've been given a hope and I'll go on that, no fibrillation's on my EMGs yet and I intend to keep it like that. I have a lot of love around me and faith, I am not sorry for my diagnosis, I am thankful for my life.

    MRI Suggestive of What?

I tested negative for Myasthenia gravis. There is a 10-15% change that even if you have it you will test negative, but that's where I am at with that.

No news other than I have low copper levels so we're running tests on that. Still waiting on my dna test to rule out Kennedy's. Also have an appointment with Mayo next week which is good. My Neuro is very thorough so some tests are still pending, and new ones always creeping up! Glad I have a...

    MRI Suggestive of What?

Thanks. I have an appointment pending with a lyme specialist. I am not impressed with my neuro, last month he thought I was crazy for asking for an MRI, and this month he thinks I have als. Is extreme fatigue a symptom of ALS? I can't seem to find this anywhere?

My wrists cramp when i bend them and my jaw when I yawn, thought neither are painful. My #1 complaint is fatigue, I can hardly stay awake, but sleeping is hard too ;) I feel like I've been hit by a train which is why I think it's an infection. I can still do everything physically, my muscles...

    MRI Suggestive of What?

Thanks Yulia! I agree, a lot of these things don't add up. I do know that every ALS case is very different, especially with presentations in young people. This forum brings me much need clarity when trying to make sense of it, if you just start googling it can get very bleak.

Yeah I am working on it. I have a few very close friends that are doctors, though this isn't their specialty or even area they are wanting to see it all.

    MRI Suggestive of What?

When talking to my wife yesterday she did say the neuro mentioned that there was abnormalities in my neck/cheek, so I guess that could mean tongue? I am not sure if my tongue fasciculates, i guess it does but it's not overwhelmingly obvious like my arms are. My Neuro did say my symptoms are...

All the input and replies here are really overwhelming, thanks to all!I am my best at night. MRI Suggestive of What?

From September to December I was extremely tired and would slur my words after only a few drinks, so my wife insisted I go see her neuro. Those were my only symptoms. Fatigue and alcohol intolerance aren't to my knowledge symptoms of MND which is why I had a hard time getting anyone to listen to...

I remember it very vividly. I went for a massage and it started in my left bicep. About 3 hours later while in bed it had spread to my entire body. That was just after Christmas.
