I've had both eye floaters and low blood pressure all my adult life (I'm 45), so they are not necessarily correlated to high blood pressure. However, point is taken that if you experience any sudden vision change, it's worth an urgent trip to the dr.!

Mine haven't been particularly rapid or non-stop, but I know what you mean - I've had that happen where a spot feels odd and I'll touch it (yes, usually applying slight pressure) and I can feel it twitching.
