Suspected Early Onset SMA Symptoms

Hello.i was playing with my 18 months' boy : i was lifting him by a foot and i noticed it was more difficult to me to do it with left hand than with right hand (i'm ambidexter, more right handed). Obviously you can imagine what i will ask : can it be the beginning of weakness of the disease who must not be named. My boy is 12 kg (and me 52) (i don't know if this unit of mass is usual for you, it's the weight à 12 liters of water for instance)...

You should expect some difference in strength between right/left hands. Nothing I'd be worried about whatsoever.

I'm actually right-handed, but weaker on my right than on my left. This is totally normal. Blessings, Sue
