O.k. I need some reassurance again. As I have already described in another thread, my bodywide twitching started about five weeks ago, together with some cramps. I had a neurological exam (which I didn't find very thorough, though) and a clean EMG on the frontal right thigh (my neuro didn't think that EMG was necessary at all; so she only did one "for your peace of mind") two weeks ago.Since then, the character of my twitching has changed. In the beginning I experienced a combination of big single thumpers mainly in the legs and some ordinary "30 second"-twitching mainly in arms, buttocks and trunk. Now the twitches in my legs have changed to a fast vibrating or buzzing type of twitching (or maybe what some people describe as "ratcheting"), especially in the frontal right calf, when I move the leg forward (of course I immediately freaked out, because I remembered the "in relaxed muscles"-thing). Other twitches seem to have turned into something that almost feels like electric jolts (they even hurt in way electric jolts would do). Plus the vibrations have started to take place in the feet and in the tongue, too (funny enough, the tongue thing doesn't really bother me, probably because I give some hours of lectures every day and don't experience any problems with my speech).Has anybody made similar experiences or is this something I should worry about? Sould I see my neuro again or perhaps another one (for a more thorough clinical exam)?!
