I might be completely wrong about this, but it's like from most of the posts I read, the age group most affected is mid-to-late 30s… Just seems Interesting to me. I'm 37... Like I said I might be totally wrong
I would say the bulk of people that post here experience BFS onsite in their 30's, but BFS can arrive at pretty much any age. We've seen reports of onset during child hood as well as people in their 60's, etc.
I remember some fellows from 19 till 65 or so, but I believe there are two peaks - around 22-25 and around 35-40. Actually KurtBohan should know as he keep our stats.
I was 30 when it developed, I'm 31 going on 32 now. Not sure if it matters for me though because I think mine was trigged by giving birth and incidents soon after.
27, but started twitching (bodywide) at 18. Seemed to subside until about 2 months ago, but I believe I was just not paying attention to them b/c I wasn't worried.
<< So you're dead on >>I wish I hadn't read dead on. Now I am freaking out!!! Just kidding. I am 39 now, and I was about 32 or 33 when I first got BFS. However I was showing early symptoms of it way back in my early 20's. You just get used to it after a while.
Twitching started right before my 54th birthday. I will be 56 in a few weeks - so almost 2 glorious years of all this jazz. Not a fan, but you have to learn to deal with it all. Managing your stress level helps, but even then it is there. I say once those floodgates are open, it feels as if they cannot be completely shut.
