Essential Tremor: Shaking Thumb?

This happened while I was typing. I raise my thumb but not to the top and found it shakes like mad. It is really freaking. I hope that's from bfs which aggravates my essential tremor. Did anyone ever experience this?This is my video
 
I had phases where my thumb would also tremor VERY bad. But only if I raised it a bit, as soon as I put full tension on the muscles my tremor decreases a lot. I cannot test it today because I have absolutely ZERO tremor today , but I will see on one of my worse tremor days. But I would bet it does the same then. In the meantime: ..pure BFS, never had the slightest tremor until I got it, my hands were so calm that at work they brought ME all the very difficile fine motoric stuff because I had the dalmest hands LOL
 
Submarine, yes, I get this too in my thumb on my left hand when I lift it. I also get it when I lift my 4th and 5th fingers on the same hand (where my hand is resting on a surface). Sometimes if I lift up my arm to reach for something I get it too....Yasmin x
 
Mine mad thumb tremor had eased a little bit. I hate to be scared by new symptom :oops: Luckily they ease a little but still there :crying: Thanks for you guys and hope that our tremor will get better some day.
 
Lots of us get this, including myself. Nothing to be worried about...that much I am sure. For me, cutting out caffeine helped a bit but I still get this.
 
I'm so sensitive to caffeine that I never have cafe. One day, I had a bottle of green tea and my thumb twitched like machine gun that night. Horrible.
