Twitching in Left Hand

Hi,I am new to posting on this forum but have been reading for a while! I have been having BFS type issues for the last 6 months - various twitches over my body including legs, arms, face, back and tongue. I have also had health anxiety for the last 14+ years.I seem to have a new hotspot for twitching (which has come on over the last week) which is making my pinky finger on my left hand twich from side to side. I mainly notice this when I am at rest and more particularly when my forearm is resting on something. Am wondering if this is a BFS type twitch or whether my arm is resting on a nerve which then causes my finger to twitch. This new one is freaking me out a bit because it is in my hand - my ALS fears are now starting to escalate again. My calves used to be my 'hotspots' - but they don't really twitch any more.Anyone else had/have this?Thanks.Rellie.

hi rellie, yes ive had that along with every other twitch known to the bfs community..its not different to any other twitch my friend....dont let it stress u cos u will just twitch more....best wishes shannon :D)

Thanks for the reply! My original ALS worries were over a dent in my calf. 12 months on the dent doesn't bother me any more but I now have these twitches - which have come on since reading up on ALS. If my original concerns were the start of some awful disease I'm sure it would have progressed by now.I see you are in Victoria - I live in Melbourne!!Thanks, Rellie.

My pinkies both go nuts. Little twitches and bigger twitches that move the whole finger. Happens all the time, especially if I put pressure on my wrist or forearm. I am 3 years in and that one is just as common as the rest. Nothing special to worry about :D)
