BFS: 4 Year Headache Increase

Hi guys,I've been aboard the BFS-train for almost four years now. Yehaa ...Recently I've noticed an increase in my headache-frequency.I used to have headaches 4-6 times a month. Pretty nasty ones very similar to migraine, I think.Painkillers didn't do the trick alone, but if I got a few hours sleep as well, if often disappeared.Until now. Now I have headaches every other day. One day without, one day with. It's almost guaranteed.Painkillers are more or less useless. How about my BFS-friends here. Do you have headaches as well?Happy easter!/Peter

Yes, migraines about 2x week, 99% of the time I wake up with the headache and it's gone next day. Painkillers do nothing for me, although I haven't tried the newer drugs like Imitrex yet. These increased in intensity about a year before all the BFS nonsense started. Something I catch myself doing that may be related is tensing my facial muscles in the upward direction (cheeks, temples, basically a nervous smile). It happens subconsciously all day, literally hundreds of times.

I get ripping headaches a couple time a month. I had one last Sunday. I get the occasional migraine too (with the visual aura), but these headaches are different and started a couple years before the twitching. I've found Excedrin Migraine, which is a mix of aspirin, Tylenol, and caffeine, knocks them back a wee bit, but sleep is the best thing.

I get headaches almost everyday if not every:/ they seems to be a tension type ( if that type exist, at least not for everybody ). My advice is to avoid pain killers and Excedrin especially. They are effective but can create even more headaches after. All that crap headaches/ twitching came around the same time.

It most likely has nothing too do with your BFS. It is rather subject to the amount of working hours in front of the computer and/or the lack of sufficient water-intake. Regards, do
