Dealing with BFS Since 2006

hello everyone,I have been dealing with BFS since summer 2006. Last year I decided I needed help with the anxiety and went on effexor. Life was great! Now I am on Wellbutrin, anxiety is sky high and I found my second toe (counting from my big toe) move. It looks like a twitch happen right on the vein at the bottom of that toe that leads up to the toe. It is not a strong twitch at all, but enough to make the toe move very slightly. I can barely feel it, but can. I am wondering about everyone's experiences. I am anxiety ridden right now and would appreciate comments. I worry about PD because my mother has it. I have twitching on the side of my feet under my big toe. Pretty much everyday when I get a strong twitch, it moves my big toe. You have nothing to worry about.

Thanks Barbie for the post. I am just concerned because this seems like it is pretty regular and it is like it gets fired up on the nerve and lifts the toe a slight bit. Thank you,Luke

Hi Luke. My toes like to move on their own as well. Scary, but not much different than everyone else's experience. BTW, what is PD?

Yeah, i guess it is just wierd because it fires up like regularly some times moving the toe some times not. PD is parkinson's disease.Thank you for your support.Luke

I have had a constant twitch in my left hand for over a year now. The hand still works fine but the constant nature of it does make it stand out in my mind. I try to remember that there are lots of those here with a constant twitch (usually the calves). I have also had a toe move from twitching but it is not constant. I think whatever is effecting the nerves can just manifest itself in different ways. There is one thing I know about twitching and it is that the type does not give evidence of the cause unless you have only one twitch and then maybe it could be a problem with a single nerve. If your twitching is systemic, then the type of twitch gives very little info. I saw so many neuros and none wanted to see or hear my descriptions of the twitches. They were only interested in strength and test results.
