Neuro Appointment: Update and Plan

I went again to the neuro today because as I had posted last week, I have been having a lot of pain in my arm and increased twitching there. He did the strength and reflex testing again. He said no weakness means no ALS. He did schedule another EMG to rule out carpel tunnel because of the pain. At the end he squeezed my shoulder and said please try not to lose sleep over this. Ha ha yeah right. Anyway, I love back from neuro posts so I thougth I would post this one. He was so completely unconcerned about my long list of symptoms he said the only symptom he is looking for is weakness.
 
I also wanted to let you know specifically that I too get twitching in my thumbs when I flex them. He was equally unimpressed with that symptom
 
Glad things went well!! It sounds like you can take a deep breath...I get pain in my wrist a lot, which I too think is carpal tunnel. I am going back for a follow-up at the neuro on Wednesday, so I will mention it to him.Twitches can pop up anywhere :)Andrea
 
I am a Jersey girl. Just lived in mahwah for one year a long time ago not sure why we still have it in our e-mail. We live in Hillsborough now, originally from livingston.
 
I grew up in NJ too. I live in NY now though. Maybe this is the common thread. All twitchers have a link to new jersey. Ha ha. I will refrain from toxic waste jokes, as I am actually a big fan of the state.But I am not particularly find of Corzine. Keith
 
When I visited my neuro (a very experimented one) he said the same : no weakness no ***. He said the first population target in my area are Health Workers ...... He said this is not a rare disease (as many papers state). BFS is a epidemy far away from NJ too. lol
 
Saw a couple of comments about New Jersey, and then saw Mahwah.... When we first got married I worked in Mahwah, before we moved back to Ohio.My fatherinlw lives in Ridgewood.I remember it like it was yesterday.Andrea :)
 
Does anyone know what happens if too many twitchers are in the same place at the same time.It could be like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters.The bar might explode.I'm in anyway!
