In case any of you are doubting the effect that overall anxiety can have on your symptoms, consider this. Last night, for some odd reason, I had a scary dream. I don't know why, the last nightmare I had was probably 9 or 10 years ago. But I had a scary (non health related) dream last night, and when it woke me up, my BFS symptoms were going freaking haywire. I mean, I have never had so many facial twitches and back twitches in my life. I sat up, and my face was like an electrified fence. Every muscle and nerve was popping and zapping all over the place.Since I knew this was just anxiety driven (thank God I'm in month seven, and not week two), I fell back asleep pretty quickly. And when I woke up for work this morning, my legs were just complete jelly. They had probably been twitching and burning and zapping all night after my dream, so when I woke up it was like they hadn't been resting at all. It was so weird. In fact, it is now two hours later and the adrenaline and anxiety effects are just now beginning to wear off. Luckily my face decided to chill out a couple of hours ago.Anyone have any weird experiences with dreams like this before?
