Everything Will Be Fine

Great news about you appt.! I do think it will help to focus on something new for awhile. Be sure and check back every now and again though, it will be reassuring to many oldies and newbies! :D) :D) :D)

Wonderful news and I completely understand your need for a break. I have been doing that myself lately, not signing on as much and not posting as much. I feel I need to do it for a sanity check. Glad to hear all went well. You have been a wonderful supportive person on this Board.

MissyJ - most of us here started as "takers" and gradually become "givers". It's nothing to feel bad about.

Migolivas - great news. (Was there any point in my posting that now you've gone?)

mogilvas: I too have decided to lay off this site (and others like the "bad ones") for a while, in fact I haven't been here for 2-3 weeks. Okay, I know something is wrong, I have been told on two occasions sep. by 9 months after full workup by *** specialists that I don't have it. So there is something but not ***, I need to focus on other things and deal with them. It may be neuro or musculoskeletal, but it is not that which I dread. I'm waiting to see a hand specialist re RSI,etc. maybe a pain clinic, but the waiting lists are long and I don't have any personal contacts with these people to speed things up. If the pain, aching and twitching is under control, I feel so much better--I just can't get my fam. doc. to take it seriously enough to start pulling some strings, and he won't prescribe moderately strong painkillers for some personal reason--that is the only thing that helps (plus the clonazepam). I may threaten to quit my job as a radiologist ( in a town that needs 8 but has 3--maybe that will light the proverbial "fire under the a**")!
