Tight Throat/Swallowing Sensation Issues

Does anyone have this feeling in the back of your throat, where you swallow and a little tends to back into your nose or sinus area...been having this lately with a burning tongue sometimes in the back or tip of the tongue on and off...swallowing food and liquids does not seem to be a problem, it just feels extremely tight in my neck and throat and swallowing of saliva seems to cause the feeling of sinus burn in the base of the nose and back of throat...wondering if this sounds related to bulbar type symptoms of saliva not going down completely or properly...thanks for any replies

I used to get that burned feeling on my tongue, pain and irritaiton in my sinus,as well as a soar throat. It was caused by reflux and now that I take ranitadine everyday I don't feel it anymore. I never felt that tightness, but my friend did and his was caused by reflux too. Just a thought. There are many good postings in the archive that deal with this topic. They will set your mind at ease.
