Hello guys It has been a while since j posted on here. My symptoms got better and I was able to move on past my fear. But now it is back with vengeance. Couple days ago I had b12 Injextion and since that day j feel extreme fatigue in my muscle and weakness I feel my muscle are heavy and hard to move but j can still do squat walk in heels etc After 4 years and many emg that turned out normal should j still worry Is it anxiety or something serious I happening Could it be the worst

There is nothing to gain by worry. Look at the recent past about it coming back. Also, B12 injection could cause all kings of things. In any case I'd advise not to worry! Try powerful technique of postponing worry. Even for one day. Promise yourself you will NOT worry and get busy. It becomes a habit.

When I use my left arm to carry something like my laptop case I get a burning sensation throughout my arms and it gets fatigued easily compared to my right one. what could that be due to? My left arm bother me so much that even typing this message makes it sore and burn :(

That could be due to 1st or 2nd stage of ishemia caused by so called toracic outlet syndrome in which your vessels suppluyng blood to the upper limbs are compressed together with the nerve plexus at the point where they are leaving strenum. it is quite common condition.

What does it mean when EMG shows a chronic degeneration? Is is bad Is this considered abnormal and does it mean it's something serious. I had chronic degeneration in both of my legs where the most symptom are ?I am worried about that. It was on my emg report and j have just read it today :-/I don't know I think after 4 years I am going back in darkness again :(

I called my neuron today and he told me that they were not active. It's something that happened in past and stopped. I have no idea what he's meant. I am very nervous guys. Please someone ellabkrate in that He think it might be some viral infection or west Nile bite

It means you has some old and recovered daage, and residual damage. like a kind of scar, caused certain changes on EMG.it is very rough approximation but important is that it was not an active process. Active process means that you may had some current inflammation (possibly with healing) - and that may mean that something is going on right now. Old, inactive process means just some prevous, now insignificant issues. And the fact that you safely lived for 4 years just confirms that.

I understood. That's exactly how he put it in perspective for me but for some reason I did not buy his story. For two reason 1- why did jt happen. There must be a reason why it Happened. I am sure bfs did not cause that 2- could these past scar becomes active and does it get worse How do I know that j won't have more of them soonI am very clear confused. Also what do you mean by scar. Does that mean I lost muscle fiber and lost strength and lost muscle. Is that why j feel my legs are like jelly and weak I asked him if my case fit bfs and if he believe that bfs is a disease and he said it is a disease in itself that is benign and it's due to some sodium potassium channel disorder But anyhow He def rules out als and he is really interested to see what has caused this to happen He said could be anything from pinched nerve to viral or could be sma :-/He ordered me the genetic testing for sma, an mri for my spine as well as blood work checking my cpk level and western Nile.

Remember knee problems are very, very, very, common! As are back problems. It will be good to get EMG for peace of mind, and then let it go. Ask your doctor about charcot-marie-tooth -
