Twitching after Tooth Extraction?

Along the side I have had a twitch where it pulls, and can be seen as well as felt. This comes and goes, is not constant, and, according to an unknown neurologist is not the same as fasciculations, nor is it associated with MND. Yes, the twitching is nerve related (obviously) but not recognized as a hallmark of MND. Could a tooth extraction cause tongue twitching after a week or more? Thanks.

I was referring to a neurologist's post online, who is not my neurologist. I don't know him/her. Let's agree to ignore, not respond to each other's posts.

Sorry, not sure what's going on between you two, but I would like to share:Recently I paid $30 online to get an online neuro's opinion on my symptoms. Boy oh boy, did I learn my lesson! Twitchydoc was so right when he said to me that no real doctor would give advice like that online without seeing the patient....and, those answers are public for all to read, so others can google and read that stuff. This is exactly what he advised me on another thread on here:"Xina, as a medical professional, I would be happy to help.One thing - do not trust much these doctors. Do you think that a sucessful medical doctor needs to earn some money by answering questions online? Typically the answer is too vague and contains no more than you could find in google books, for example. I bet he is not an ALS specialist - I would be very surprised if an ALS specialist was answering online. My point is - do not trust much in what he told you. I was told by a member of this site that it is not ethical to answer questions without physical examination..and these guys do the same and in addition, charge you..trust me, whatever BFS related requires a specialist, not a general neurologist who need some money..."So just wanting to share.
