The amalgam theory is a myth. If it were true probably everybody on the planet would have BFS. My father had a mouth full of silver. he was never sick a day and lived to 86 (and he did'nt twitch) My mother is still alive at 82 (also does'nt twitch). I still stick by the unknown virus theory.

Man! I wish I just twitched that much. We need to come up with a term for twitching all over "AND I MEAN ALL OVER" How about "FULL ONSET BFS" :unsure:

I have had this Twice in my life It's a type of migraine my eye doctor diagnosed it as an "Ocullar Seclusion, With aura."

I agree, so there is good news, and there is bad news. The bad is your may have it for the rest of you're life, the good news is that the rest of you're life will probably be a very,very long time.

Just an observation, If BFS progressed to ALS we would all be dead by now and there would be no reason for this site to even exist

Zanax (alprozalam) is great , could be withdrawal, but I dont Know how much you take or when you stopped. Just a tip, If you still have any take a low dose at regular intervals and see how you feel. Never just stop this type of medication.

I dont know your background but I do know if you lie awake in the middle of the night cataloging symptoms, there is definitley stress involved. Like I said I dont know your medical history. Pins and needles and numbness can be caused by hyperventilation. I know this because it used to happen to...
