Hey im 21 and im afraid as much as you are, anyway iv read that the twich might stop when you are contracting the muscle that is twitching, but once you relex the muscle the twich will most likely resume.

I forgot to add also, i had clean EMG on my left leg and arm, now i think of getting EMG on my right leg and arm. Iv heared that if emg was clean on one side it would be clean on the other side also (Im afraid of ALS).
