New to Forum, Testing - BFS?

May 14, 2011 was the first day I noticed fasciculations all over my calves. Here I am 7 years later. Proof that this is benign. The twitches have gotten much worse over the years as my elbows crawl with twitches all day long as constant as my calves but I’m living a happy NORMAL life. Twitch on!

    Dealing with Inner Twitches

I hear ya Cro.Can I ask, how often do you feel them above your waist? Mine used to be primarily in my calves with random pops everywhere else but now my upper body is constant. Sucks.Matt

    Dealing with Inner Twitches

Will,You just described my twitches perfectly. Both my deltoids 'rumble' with twitches all day long. I usually can feel them both going at the same time. If I take my shirt off and look in the mirror, my twitches are not blatently visible, but I can feel them all over and if I look closely...

    Dealing with Inner Twitches

Hey Will,You may have come across my posts on here. I've been twitching for 4 years. In the first year, it was nonstop in my calves with random 'pops' elsewhere. NOW, 4 years later, I'm a human popcorn machine. I have multiple fibers in multiple muscles going off 24/7 with no let up at all...

    Elbow Twitching for a Month?

I have complained about elbow twitching on here for nearly 3 years. It is worse than ever now. Has anyone ever had that little muscle directly above their elbow go bananas on them for an extended period of time? Its been a month for me and it is going very rapid, like 2 per second without...

    Twitches in Both Elbows?

Its gotten progressively worse around my elbows, especially my right one. Check it out these days....

    Twitches in Both Elbows?

Just bumping this post. In 2012 I said that I didn't think my elbows twitching was going to stop. Here we are in 2015 and they are still going every second. BUT, WAY WAY worse. I'm at work right now and I am so annoyed at the crawling feeling in my arms so I went to the Mens room, rolled up...

    What Is ALS's 'Mystery Phase'?

I just read Greg's post about his visit to the Mayo Clinic yesterday. Fantastic post, better than my post from 2012 when I visited the Jacksonville office. Here it is:When I posted back in 2012, I wrote that the Mayo Clinic told me "they see this (BFS) all the time." Docen has since...

Twitching in Two Limbs: Good or Bad?

When BFS first started for me, I freaked the first time I had a twitch in my shoulder immediately followed by one in my thigh. Then they started happening simultaneously and I freaked even more. Now, 3.5 years later, there are times when I can't even count how many areas on my body are...

    EMG Detection of Unknown Condition

peripheral nerve hyper excitability is a benign condition. I tested positive for it by the RNS test as others have mentioned. I have tongue twitches everyday all over my tongue. Not sure why you are worrying about it, most of us have hyper excited nerves.

    Finding Fasciculation Clues to ALS

@rutra80, I manipulated your words? I'm sorry, I thought I read "ONLY TIME WILL SHOW what is on with you. 3-5 years." Did I not?@Robj, I don't know what to make of anything you've been posting. Its like you're trying to reassure people while scaring them at the same time. The reason we read...

    Finding Fasciculation Clues to ALS

JoshSon,I completely agree with you. After you listed Eisen's 1st study and Eisen's 2nd study, you could have also listed an email to a member on here FROM EISEN HIMSELF. For someone to come on here and say, "IMO the closest to truth is that at the current level of knowledge about these...

    Finding Fasciculation Clues to ALS

Robj-I don't fully understand why you are going about things the way you are and I agree with the others that we don't have a single study or a youtube channel devoted to proving that twitching without weakness is in fact benign. But we do have this site, and as Johnny said, together we have...

    Twitching for over 2 Years

That is absolutely nothing to worry about. I get those types of tongue twitches all the time and was able to show it to my neurologist. He said, "that is of no concern to me and is consistent with neural hyperexciteability (BFS)". Don't worry about it.Matt

    Battling Anxiety and Health Issues

Its this "prove to me I don't have ALS" attitude that will keep a person here for 7 years, or even 20+ in some cases.I haven't been on this site in a while, and now I remember why. I hope the newer twitchers like Bibi realize that this condition really is benign, even though some people on...
